How to find a competent person to develop an innovative product

The company is in the early stages of developing a cutting edge product for the travel technology market. They have a clear goal and path forward but must overcome unique technical challenges to execute the plan. Therefore, the company turned to Talent Place for support in recruiting a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development of the company’s network infrastructure.

His responsibilities include direct day-to-day communication with management, as well as the design, development and implementation of core network components using dispersed technology to shake up the multi-billion dollar travel industry.

Talent Place decided to get involved by using the network of its recruiting community.

Employment within 2 weeks of starting the project

The project was planned in two stages – the first included sourcing, selection, initial interviews and finally recommendation of the best candidates to the client. The second stage consists of interviews between company representatives and candidates. The Talent Place team, consisting of a Client Success Manager and a recruiter, found four people who fit the profile and recommended them to the client for the second stage. The client invited two of them for interviews and made the decision to hire one of the selected candidates.
