In 2023, the number of Polish companies using artificial intelligence increased by 22% according to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) report. Guided by these data, it is expected that by the end of the decade the national economy may be enriched by PLN 576 billion. Already 94% of companies in Poland have recorded higher revenues thanks to AI, and 88% say this is the reason for their innovation. 93% of companies believe that the AI they use today will revolutionize their industry within the next five years.

Forecasts indicate that by 2025, AI will create 97 million new jobs worldwide. Among the most desirable professions will be: Machine Learning Engineer, AI Product Manager, NLP Engineer, AI Ethics Specialist or AI Cybersecurity Analyst.

AI is becoming more and more ubiquitous, affecting different areas of life, including the structure of the labor market. On the one hand, it raises concerns about the automation of routine and repetitive tasks, affecting the reduction of some positions. On the other hand, it opens up new opportunities and creates a demand for specialists in this field.

According to the report “Study of the situation on the IT market” from December 2023, prepared by All IT Club, the biggest threat for employees in this industry is the progressive development of AI and work automation – according to as many (51.3%) of respondents. On the other hand, companies in this sector created more jobs (40%) thanks to artificial intelligence than they eliminated (10%).

Over the next five years, AI spending in business is expected to grow by 20% per year, reflecting the growing interest in this area.
